From the outset, Aamir starts off as an intriguing thriller about a common man forced into criminal exploitation in the course of a day. Aamir Ali (Rajeev Khandelwal) lands at the Mumbai airport only to discover that his family has been kidnapped and he has been turned scapegoat by an extremist group to indulge in a heinous crime. From there starts his journey in the beleaguered by-lanes of Mumbai city as he keeps running on the tunes of the terrorists with no clue about their stealthy mission. By the time he awakes to his assignment, realization strikes that he has been embroiled in a bombing conspiracy.
